It's also possible to reprogram your sounds by returning your caller to Foxpro. You can also record your own sounds into the device using the PG-1A adaptor. Simply use the dial on the back of the unit to select which sound you would like to use. The sounds programmed into the unit are listed on the left side of the Foxpro caller.

The 416 comes equipped with a timer switch. This switch is located near the front part of the handle, opposite the charge jack and LED. When active (UP position) and the unit is turned on, it will silence the speaker for about sixty seconds. After this delay, the unit will begin playing the pre-selected sound. You may disable this feature by sliding the timer switch to the down position.

The External Audio Input Jack allows for connecting an external audio device such as a walkman-type cassette, CD player, or an MP3 player to the caller. The sound will play through the caller's speaker. With an external audio source connected, the internal sounds will be muted.

You may connect an external speaker with up to 75 feet of wire to the external speaker jack. The internal speaker will be shut off when the external speaker is connected. If you would like both speakers to play at once, select the option stating "Both Speakers Work w/ Jack" when selecting a color.

Foxpro callers are powered by four AA batteries, either alkaline or NiMH types. NOTE: The so-called "heavy duty" inexpensive batteries do not perform well. Use high quality name brand alkaline batteries to power the caller. To save money on batteries, purchase the NiMH charger for $19.95.

FOXPRO's FX3 features dual speakers, each with its own amplifier, for improved frequency response and increased volume - an industry first! One speaker is located in the front of the unit, the other is located in the rear, and each is controlled with its own switch.
You control whether you want the front speaker to play, the rear speaker to play, or both speakers to play at the same time. You can also plug in an external speaker (not included), and have all 3 speakers play at the same time.

The FX3 features virtually Unlimited sound loops with 256 MB of digital storage. The unit is designed to play mp3s, uncompressed wav files, and fxp (Foxpro's own proprietary file type!) for the highest quality of sound ever!

The FX3 comes standard with Foxpro's long-range FX3 remote control. This remote features:

100 step volume control with quick step for ultra smooth transition in volume changes

The FX3 comes standard with 32 pre-programmed sounds of your choice from Foxpro. But what about other sounds? Maybe you've got your own sound loops you'd like to use. The FX3 makes this process easier than ever. Unlike our previous models, the new FX3 comes equipped with a 256 MB hard drive. Use the supplied USB cable to transfer sounds from your computer to your caller in a matter of seconds. With this amount of storage space, you can store a virtually unlimited number of sound loops on your caller!

The FX3 comes equipped with a charge jack. If you are using Foxpro's NiMH re-chargeable batteries, plug your charger into this jack and it will directly re-charge your batteries.

The FX3 has an external audio jack so you can play fro a cd or mp3 player through your FX3's speakers.

Runs on 8 "AA" alkaline or rechargeable battieries. A low battery detector indicates when the unit's batteries need to be charged or replaced.
