| About MJW Customs We have been repairing, modifing, assembling and custom building guitars and basses for close to 20 years now. Being we are a small shop, we take pride in offering our customers the best personal service they deserve. We offer all sorts of services from minor repairs to full out custom builds. There are a lot of under-rated parts out there, especially pickups, as well as over-rated parts, and we can help determine what best suits the situation. Necks - On every neck we sell, we perform a complete fret level and dress as well as lube the truss rod (where applicable) before it leaves our shop. All aftermarket necks and most factory necks can benefit from and in many cases NEED a fret level and dress. Some just more than others. We help unlock the full potential and playability of every neck we sell or repair. Bodies - Most of the major aftermarket manufactures make very good to excellent quality replacement and custom bodies. We mostly use Mighty Mite, AllParts, and WD if it is a standard Strat, Tele, P-bass or J-bass body. We can modify these bodies for different pickup configurations, trem to hardtail conversion, hardtail to trem conversion, highly figured tops and or backs - the possibiliteis are endless. For a custom body or a style not offered by an aftermarket manufacturer, shoot us an e-mail, this is the stuff we love to do. We have a large selection of bodies, necks, tuners, pickups and bridges in stock. Please keep in mind, that with so many different options available, it is impossible to stock every configuration, so please e-mail or call.
